Yes Martin that is some feat, according to the reference page it as set about because one of the other Ship yards had built one in ten days, when asked if they could build one faster, they replayed that it would have been eight days, had they not had to delay the build so that the President could attend the launching.
The average was 50 days, this is due to the amount of steel that was in stock and the capacity of the Ship yards.
